Another popular campus lies in the state capital of Honolulu. This campus can be found downtown and offers aeronautic, marine, automatic and heavy equipment programs. They offer very technical programs such as aviation and automotive arts. State University’s Honolulu campus also has a strong liberal arts program if you are interested in something beyond the specialized technical studies.
Admissions
As you can imagine, State University is a draw for people from all over the world. Competition is fierce to attend programs on any of the ten campuses. As with most four-year universities, there are several steps that are required for undergraduate or graduate admission to State University. To begin, you need to decide what program or course of study interests you. You will need to file quite a bit of paperwork with the university, including the application form and fee, your official high school and other transcripts, test scores, degree certification, and a health clearance.
After this, all you can do is sit back and wait to hear from someone at State University. Remember that you must have official copies of your transcript sent from every school that you have attended. If the admissions office does not receive these at the particular campus you have applied to, your application may be held up for longer than you would prefer.
